Sunset Memorial Park

SUNSET MEMORIAL PARK Funeral Home was established in 1914 by the I.O.O.F. Independent Order of Odd Fellows and relocated from the Marshfield Pioneer Cemetery, which began in 1890 on 7th and Ingersoll to its current location on Highway 101 at Millington. Sunset maintains the pioneer records. It operated the first and only crematory in the Bay Area until its replacement at Ocean View Memory Gardens in 1985. The licensed full service funeral home was added in 2013 in preparation for the 100th anniversary of the cemetery in 2014.

The 40-acre park is the home of the only mausoleum, columbarium and cremation garden in Coos Bay. Sunset offers private or public services at the gravesite with a portable chapel, in the mausoleum chapel or you may choose one of our other location chapels. A large selection of burial spaces, cremation spaces, crypts, niches, headstones, markers, monuments, benches, burial and urn vaults, caskets, urns, cremation jewelry, keep sakes, printed material and video tributes are available at the time of need or in advance by preplanning.

Payment terms and options are available. Pet cremation is available.
